ERGONOMICS – TIPS FOR STAND-UP WORKSTATIONS
- Work at elbow height
- Symmetrical load on both legs
- Stand with legs slightly apart, beneath hips
- Shift load from one leg to the other
- Rest the free leg a little higher
- Support the upper body, e.g. by leaning
- Wear suitable shoes, and also compression stockings or socks if necessary
- Springy, elastic floor surfaces are best
